Michele Borowski Obituary

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Michele Borowski, a cherished wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend. Born October 25, 1954, she gracefully journeyed to her heavenly abode on Sunday, March 10, 2024, after a courageous fight with cancer.

Affectionately known as Mickey, her journey began at Southside Catholic High School, where she cultivated enduring friendships that lasted a lifetime. Her pursuit of higher education led her to Bradford Business College, earning an associate degree propelling her into a successful career as a business administrator at Resource Engineering Management Inc.

Mickey's career path took a meaningful turn when she transitioned to Birthplace, later known as the Midwife Center. It was here that she discovered her passion for women's healthcare, inspiring her to pursue roles such as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, and ultimately a Doula.

Her dedication and compassion for her clients were boundless, fostering lasting relationships that extended well beyond her retirement. Mickey's unwavering support and empathy made her an integral part of her clients' lives, earning her a place in their hearts and families.

Mickey epitomized resolute devotion to God and exemplified a steadfast faith that guided her every step. She was a beacon of strength and integrity, always imparting her wisdom to others, encouraging them to trust in the Lord during times of adversity. Her belief that God would carry them through any hardship resonated deeply with all who knew her.

Her remarkable character was defined by her unparalleled kindness, a trait she possessed to a fault. Mickey's compassion and love knew no bounds and her genuine care for others left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched. As we reflect on her life, it is this intense strength of character and limitless compassion that we hold dear in our memories of Mickey.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Dave Borowski, her devoted children, Heather (Greg) Goodhile and Nathan (Shiantal) Borowski, her cherished sister, Marlane "Laney" (Kenneth) Hartman, and her adored grandchildren, Bryn, Mira, Lyla, and Jovy, along with numerous other relatives and friends. Mickey is preceded in death by her father, Albert Broznick, and her loving mother, Alberta (Feldmeier) Broznick, and her dear brother, Brian Broznick.
